1. Agreement

By creating an account, calling the API or using this website, you agree to these terms. If you use the service on behalf of a company or team, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

TASI API provides REST endpoints for Saudi market data — quotes, instrument reference data, market status and the trading calendar — together with a simulated Paper Trading environment for developer portfolios. The endpoints currently published are listed at tasi-api.com/docs. We may add, change or withdraw features, and we will document material changes on that page.

7. Market data

While our licence application with the Saudi Exchange is pending, market data is provided for evaluation only and must not be redistributed. It is sourced from a data vendor and normalized by our own pipeline. It is derived from periodic snapshots rather than from every exchange print, so intraday values may be delayed, estimated or incomplete, and a symbol may be missing, halted or stale. The data is provided “as is” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, timeliness or fitness for a particular purpose.

Nothing on this service is investment, financial or trading advice. Verify any value against an authoritative source before you rely on it, and do not use the API as the sole input to an order-routing decision.

8. Paper Trading

Paper Trading is a simulation. Orders you place through the portal or the Paper API are matched against our own market snapshots, never sent to an exchange or a broker, and involve no real money. Balances, fills and reports are illustrative and are not a prediction or representation of real trading results. TASI API is not a broker, dealer or investment adviser, and no brokerage relationship is created.

9. Availability

We aim to keep the service available during market hours, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, upstream data interruptions, network failures and provider outages can occur. Endpoints and their behaviour are documented at /docs; where a feature is not yet available, it is marked as such.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data, or trading losses arising from use of the service or reliance on the data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, abuses the service, or fails to pay. You may stop using the service at any time; closing your account revokes your key and ends API access. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including market-data disclaimers, liability limits and payment obligations already incurred — continue to apply.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the current version, and continuing to use the service after an update means you accept it.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of its competent courts.
