Pro is not a different API. Same base URL, same endpoints, same response schema, same documentation. Your existing key keeps working — the new limits apply within one request cycle, with no re-integration.
Trial and billing
Every new account gets 7 days of full access. When it ends the account moves to Free automatically: the key keeps working on the three free symbols, extra portfolios become read-only, and nothing is deleted.
Billing periods and prices are published at launch, before anything is charged. Cancel any time; access runs to the end of the paid period.

Four questions, answered.
Which symbols are free?
2222 (Saudi Aramco), 1120 (Al Rajhi Bank) and 7010 (stc), plus the TASI index. The set is fixed — it does not rotate, so a project built on Free keeps working.
Is realtime included in Free?
Yes. Realtime quotes for the three free symbols, with the same schema as Pro. Streaming is Pro only: wss://api.tasi-api.com/api/v1/ws, 20 symbols per connection.
What happens when my trial ends?
The account drops to Free. Your API key still works on the three free symbols, additional paper portfolios become read-only, and nothing is deleted. Upgrading restores everything as it was.
Do I need a card to start?
No. Neither the Free plan nor the 7-day trial requires a card.
How far back does the history go?
Daily bars reach back to 2006 for the oldest listings; each response returns up to 5,000 bars, so a twenty-year pull is a few calls per symbol rather than one.
Do you cover the index and the sectors?
Yes. TASI returns bars from 2006-10-28, and the sector, size and sukuk indices return theirs from 2016, all named in /instruments.
Can I call the API from browser JavaScript?
No — a key in a page is visible to every visitor. Call it from your server or a proxy; the portal itself uses a session, not a key.
Are prices adjusted for splits and bonuses?
As traded. Every daily bar carries adjust_factor, the product of the actions after it, so you can build an adjusted series without re-fetching.
How many requests can I make?
Free is metered at 500 a day with X-RateLimit headers. Pro is not metered. Streaming allows 5 connections per key and 20 symbols per connection.
Can I redistribute the data?
Not today. The service is for your own applications while the licence application is pending; redistribution needs an agreement.
